counselingSelf-help resources can greatly expedite the process of therapy, saving time and money, helping you and your therapist identify the most efficient, effective road to recovery, providing guidance along the way.

Use these resources for homework between sessions.  You can study a handout, locate and read a book, follow an article series, fill out a worksheet, or search out a topic, to make good use of your time during the hours and days until your next session.  When you return for additional counseling, you will be even better prepared to learn from what your therapist has to teach you.  And you will have resources and reminders to catch your therapist up on how your week has gone, what you have learned since the last session, and what roadblocks you may have run into, so you can receive further customized guidance through your therapy session.
